Dela Woollams known musically as The Bizkit, is a Ghanaian afrobeats singer, and songwriter.

Known for his unconventional blend of African melodies with reggae fusion, The Bizkit’s distinct sound and clever wordplay is evident in how he fuses afrobeats with pop and dancehall. He is a mix bag of authentic urban afro-culture, making his music a unique vibe of its own.

Born and raised in Ho, Ghana, The Bizkit’s musical journey can be traced to a young age in elementary. Occasionally, when the class tutor was away, he would inscribe "entertainment" on the chalkboard and mime to songs by Bob Marley, C.J Lewis, Mark Morrison, Coolio, and Shinehead among others to the admiration of his classmates.

The Bizkit started writing songs in 2006 when he enrolled at Wisconsin International University College, Ghana. Despite being a marketing major, he took time off to dive deeper into his passion for music and evoke his songwriting abilities. His evolution was greatly influenced by P-square, Collie Buddz, Sean Paul, and Damian Marley.

The singer took a musical break in 2018 to further his studies in a Master of Business Administration program at Alcorn State University, Lorman. He made his comeback in 2020 with the smash hit single “Why You Wanna Go” which proceeded with “Soldier Vio”, a tribute to Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, the late president of the Republic of Ghana.

Modern music is dynamically evolving and African artists are keen on reshaping their sound and bringing Afrobeats to the main stage. The Bizkit is a pioneer for the culture from the music city, Nashville.
